All Tonnellerie Bernard barrels are checked and validated according to precise specifications before being packaged and leaving the workshop.
Valuable and fragile pieces, it is difficult to limit their packaging. Maximum packaging is thus carried out for export: the bottoms are protected with “daisy” boxes and the hull with bubble wrap, which provides maximum protection. The stretch film which covers the entire barrel is essential to maintain its humidity as well as possible and thereby limit drying out during transport, which can take several weeks.
The barrels are now ready to be shipped to enhance wines from all over the world.
